We would like to ask you to contribute an introductory essay concerning Sakura (cherry blossoms) and the Japanese to the April issue of our Japan feature magazine. We understand that you are the author of several books on Japanese Sakura, so we are very much hoping that you will provide us with an interesting article about the subject. We would appreciate your sending us your manuscript before March 10. If you are unavailable to contribute to our publication at this time, we understand. Please contact us with your answer by January 15.
